Hi,

I have a CISCO ASA 5510 firewall with 8.2 IOS version , in that a CSC-SSM-10-K9 module with
6.6 version inserted.

In the CSC-SSM module being configured with Web filtering and Email filtering with proper polices and was worked 3months with fine.

Recently it has started giving problem that internet browsing is getting slow..
While debugging the issue through ASDM , CSC-SSM module CPU utilisation getting hitting to 100% very often.

I did restricted and configured strict policies and disabled all the scanning functionality and trying the possible ways..

Pls can u help me how can i troubleshoot such issues , is ther a way through ASA CLI commands to mitigate the CPU utilisation of CSC-SSM

Regards

In my experience, the CLI on the SSM is not very helpful, the ASDM might be a better option.
Have you tried rebooting the module? Might be just a software bug or runaway process.
