C drive Increase space on windows 2008 r2 server

Dear Experts

We want to increase size  for C drive on windows 2008 r2 installed on VM Ware esxi 4.1.with out format C drive or reinstall OP and be in safe place. It primery DC server.
when right click on drive from Manager can not see extand option to add more space.
how we can  pefom the task.

    First off, you should provision more disk space from within the VMware infrastructure - basically look at the properties of the VM within the vSphere client and expand the disk for the domain controller.

    Then you should be able, without rebooting the guest (virtual domain controller) to do pretty much what you just tried.

    Do ensure you have a good backup first as you're messing with the disk infrastructure and if anything goes wrong...
