I am a DNS novice.
I am trying to route employees to our Outlook Web Client. The website URL is mail.mycompany.com

My exchange server is on my internal network.

I have a DNS A record set up with my DNS hosting site that points to my Exchange server, however when the user enters 'mail.mycompany.com' I would like it to translate to: mail.mycompany.com/owa.

How and where do I go about doing this?

You have to do this by editing the IIS virtual site the Default Web Site on your CAS server.
1. Open IIS Manager
2. Navigate down to Default Web Site
3. Select HTTP Redirect from the icons on the right
4. Check redirect requests to this destination and add /owa to the filed below
5. Make you you also check the "Only re-direct requests to content in this directory" option
6. Apply the settings and stop and start the Default website

You can test this easily by entering https://yourserver/ in a browser.
