I use both msoutlook and mswebapp.  There is one feature that in webapp that i would like to be changed to the functionality in outlook.

In webapp when i click on a message in the inbox it shows all related email history listed separately.  However when i click on an inbox message in the outlook program, it will show the email with history as one continuous email.

is there a setting to allow mswebapp to function like msoutlook?

I think you are referring to the Conversations view, which is the default in OWA. You can enable this view in Outlook by selecting View from the ribbon and selecting "Show as conversations" for a folder.
