Ping tranmit failed general failure.
Hi,
In our company, some clients are disconnected from the network suddenly no access to resource ( internet, file server...). But some other clients have access.
Some users said, after a micro cut they got the connection back.
I restarted switches, domain controllers, and also the client. i flush dns from the client. But in vain. when i ping to the server from the client which dont have network access, it says ping tranmit failed general failure.
But in some client we access all the ressources.
Much appreciated any quick helps .

That sounds like either the NIC went offline, or more likely the switch or port failed.
