Cisco Router config file

Hi All,

Can someone please provide an overview on how to import a config file via the command line using putty.  Is it best to factory reset the router first ?  I've not had much luck in the past with configuring the initial administrator credentials upon first connecting.

Be as basic as you want in case I'm missing an important step.

Hi,

Factory reset:
erase startup
reload

You need a tftp server to import or export the config:
