Cannot open Exchange System Manager

Hi

I'm getting the error message

Access is denied.
Facility: Win32
ID no: c0070005
Exchange System Manager

Cannot find what's causing the problem at all any help would be appreciated

Check the settings and permissions on the account that you are using to to logon the computer. Also look at what type of account this is.

Sorry saw that article and have done what is suggested still causing a problem, would it be necessary to reboot the server in order to bring the changes into play do you think ?

If you done registry change then you require a reboot the server. After reboot the server still you face the problem then follow below steps.

1) Create a new account with Administrators groups right.

2) Log on through your new account.

3) Try to open exchange management console.

Why can't you create a new user?
It could also be a broken WIndows profile. Rebooting the server then accessing the server using \\server\c$ and renaming the profile directory will force a new Windows profile to be created.
