Uninstalling adobe photo shop and reinstalling on a mac

I need to reinstall the O/S on my Mac. I have adobe photo shop CS3 installed on it. I think it is the second time this program has been installed. I will need to reinstall it after installing the O/S. Is there a way to save the install files so I don’t have the problem off having to call adobe to prove that this is my full version of Photoshop as we had to do the last time? Any help would be great.
Thank you.

You might just want to deactivate it before you uninstall it.
