I need to group my contacts by company, but can not imagine ever caling themfor a group call.  So is the Contract Group for me?

I was a group called family, so does that make sense to put all family in there?  Once I have done so, I see I can right click a contact in a goup and have the full range of options to conact them individually.

Can I delet the contact rom the root list?  Mine is getting very long until I get groups working.
