I need to group my contacts by company, but can not imagine ever caling themfor a group call. &nbsp;So is the Contract Group for me?<br />

I was a group called family, so does that make sense to put all family in there? &nbsp;Once I have done so, I see I can right click a contact in a goup and have the full range of options to conact them individually.<br />

Can I delet the contact rom the root list? &nbsp;Mine is getting very long until I get groups working.<br />

IP telephony (Internet Protocol telephony) is a general term for the technologies that use the Internet Protocol's packet-switched connections to exchange voice, fax, and other forms of information that have traditionally been carried over the dedicated circuit-switched connections of the public switched telephone network (PSTN). IP Telephony

Voice Over IP

Instant messaging (IM) is a type of online chat that offers real-time text transmission over the Internet. A LAN messenger operates in a similar way over a local area network. More advanced instant messaging can add file transfer, clickable hyperlinks, Voice over IP, or video chat. Non-IM types of chat include multicast transmission, usually referred to as "chat rooms". Depending on the IM protocol, the technical architecture can be peer-to-peer (direct point-to-point transmission) or client-server (a central server retransmits messages from the sender to the communication device).
