Citrix Client Access Gateway 5 / XenApp 6 - Can login but apps will not launch - no erro

I've configured a new CAG and I can login from the CAG to the XenApp server but when I go to launch any of the applications I get a spinning wheel beneath the app and then nothing happens...no errors no notification no event logs, nothing.

Been fooling around with this issue for a day now.

Any info that can be provided would be great. Thanks.

Prove you can run the CAG on the same CAG server or not.

Then check u can run the site by config it directly access without CAG, then drill down any issue abt the ssl setting of CAG.

Refer this document, to see if you have missed any. Additional check firewall port, gateway translation configured on web interface, valid SSL certificate with private key etc..

Does exactly the same thing from the XenApp web site as well. Still working on it...tried everything I can think of at this point. May actually have to rebuild the farm.

Did you check the event logs on the web interface server? Also did that throw any error message or still loading forever? If you're trying the above from a mobile devices, then you need xenapp sites and services. I assume you're trying from a desktop or laptop at this time..

Did you try to check the STA server entry in CAG? Is it entered as FQDN? If not then try doing this; i.e. enter the STA server/s in FQDN. If still doesn't resolve your issue, then try with an IP address of the STA.

Finally came up with a solution. I blew away all the sites, unregistered .NET framework, rebooted, re-registered .NET, updated the WI to 5.4, recreated the sites and it's all good now. Even have the CAG working the problem wasn't the CAG...the web services were busted along with .NET Framework.
