How did you build the JAVA interface?

What SDK are you using?

I do not know the SDK that the programmers are using.  This system has been running for years.  We have only one report that is throwing this specific error.  I thought you may know what factors could cause this error.

Try looking here

What has changed recently on the machine?

Has the report been changed?

Does the report still work in the Crystal designer?

It's a new report and it does work in Crystal Designer.

Figured out the problem.  In one of the subreport in the SQL Command, we had
select count(num_of_entries),
           field2

The report was throwing a bind column error on count(num_of_entries).
We had to create an alias for this column
   select count(num_of_entries) num_cnt,
            field2
