Vmware HA for use with Exchange Server 2010
Hi,
I'm with small company of 50-60 users and planning to do the upgrade from Exchange Server 2007 physical machine into Exchange Server 2010 Standard SP2 in virtual machine on VMware platform.
so what are my options to do the high availability ?
is it Vmware HA on two separate VM or use DAG in two separate Physical ESXi host ?

Ah ok, so with the DAG solution I do not have to create MSCS clustering with physical RDM / shared storage ?

Yes Mr. burns, that is what I wanted to know and explore as well,
I was inclined towards simple setup of stand alone Exchange Server Mailbox 2010 server with VMware HA setup only in different Physical ESXi host, rather than have to deal with the Application clustering or replication issue for DAG.

Many thanks therefore I can conclude that VMware HA on Exchange Server 2010 is the most simplest way to provide failover between ESXi host.
and I hope that this is supported configuration by Microsoft.
Deploying DAG is too much for just 60 mailboxes in just one small computer room (4 racks in total).

DAG in 2010 = CCR in 2007 ? are they the same ?
