Exchange 2010 database restore using Data Protector 6.20
Hi All,
I am trying to restore an Exchange 2010 database using Data Protector 6.20 to a recovery database from last month's backup.
I have found the restore point that I want, however, when I run the restore it gives me an error message
"No user data for user backupuser@mycompany.com in Inet's impersonation configuration"
In the Options tab of the restore job under "User and Group/Domain" I've typed in all the valid credentials that I know of but the restore will not start.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks,
Joe

I needed to give the exadmin account local security rights to replace a process token.
The above error is no longer showing up but the restore still fails.

I've played around with this a bit more. And I added the impersonation plus went through the DP 6.20 Integration Guide for Microsoft Applications again. I had to update the "Restore into location" and "Database name fields". This restore is now working.
ASKER
I've added the impersonation for an account that has full access to exchange (exadmin).
The restore job now gets a little bit further but fails with this error message.
A system error occurred when starting the target script or an agent module. The system error code reported is 1314 and the message resolves to '[1314] A required privilege is not held by the client. '.
I've changed the inet service on my exchange server to run as the exadmin account but the restore still fails.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Joe
