I currently am looking for a new solution to manage a directory of my Kiwanis club members, as well as handle mass-emailing groups of members based on their roles (e.g. members, board, foundation board). Currently we handle emailing groups within the club using mailman, and our roster is handled at at workstation with a PDF manually generated from time to time and uploaded to the website...
What I am hoping to find is a web-based solution where:
Each member is listed in only 1 record, and can be flagged as to which groups they belong. (currently with mailman we have to list every member in every mailman list.)
Each group list (e.g. Board of Directors) can only automatically receive emails from member of that group, with a non-member email going to the admin for approval. (similar to the way mailman can be configured.)
A photo directory can be generated on-the-fly and will always contain current member information.
No yearly costs, but does not have to be free.
Our site is a WordPress site in case anyone knows of a specific plug-in that can do this. Not necessary, but an option...
(I have seen some member management websites, but some are way too advanced and expensive.)
