How are you all doing?

Please see attached for error that i am recieving when trying to connect to SQL using sql management studio.

If there are corrupt files, is it possible that an NTBackup running without using VSS would corrupt them?

I've never seen an error like that, but it seems to be pointing to a bad configuration file (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe.config).

I doubt it's the backup because it doesn't seem to be the database that is the problem, it's the config file. I'd try opening the config file and remove the offending section (i.e. runtime). Make a back up first!
