OWA Search using Exchange 2010 works with some users but not others
Working in OWA - I can use the search function but a client can't on same computer.
Both I and the other client use the same domain for our email. Both using IE.
Server is Exchange 2010.
Since we are using the same server, same computer, same browser, only difference is that we are logging into our own email in OWA - Private variety, I can't figure out why her search doesn't work and mine does.
No error message appears. The blue donut just rotates and never lists anything.
Yesterday I fixed her regular Outlook 2010 program that also wouldn't search by creating a new profile. Never received an error message for that either.
How can I make search in OWA work?

Thanks for the info. In working with the network administrator of Exchange 2010, he said he would re-build the search index for the two servers over the weekend. He tested the re-build and it seemed to fix at least one client's OWA Search. I passed on the comment to him.
Excellent - do let me know if you need any further assistance on this.

The network administrator rebuilt the search index and this fixed all the problems.

The author has stated that my solution has fixed the issue, but hasn't assigned any points to me, simply closed it on their own comment?

Your solution did not fix the issue.
You advised rebuilding the index fixed all the problems?
Can you clarify if the index rebuild as suggest fixed the issues? I am interested in finding out the full answer, if nothing else?

The search index rebuild that was done in groups and took several weekends resolved problem with OWA search not working.
So rebuilding the index *did* fix the problem? I am confused as to why you're saying my answer isn't correct...

Despite a 2 day wait for your response, and your response seeming like my recommendation had worked (which it did). Then you saying my response didn't fix it. Fair enough your administrator apparently sorted it themselves, but you said it didn't resolve the issue. Very loose communication.
