Have you service packed BE 2012 to at least 1A?. There were some memory issues that were addressed with that service pack. Prior, the agent was causing the Exchange (and some other servers) to consume all or most of the memory.

I have installed the Service Pack and still the same problem. However changing my Storage to Backup to Disk the backup then works. It seems like the problem is between information store and tape library as the Tape library backs up File Servers with no problem:<
Have you heard of anything like this?

After updating to that service pack, have you pushed out the agent again to the Exchange server?

Which drivers are you using for the tape drive? It has always been recommended to use the Symantec drivers, not the manufacturer's one.

I have updated the Client and am using the Symantec tape driver. Have decided to leave it using Backup to Disk. Thank you for your assistance.
