If you click insert hyperlink in the message, it presents you with a onliner to enter a link manually.  Does not present you with a full screen with the ability to browse your computer or the network for the location of the file.

    Accepted Solution

Not quite sure where you find "insert hyperlink", I can click on insert file / attachement, and the I get a box, where I can chose a file or even a hyperlink or whatever.

I you mean this "insert attachment" function, and it doesn't show up, then something in the installation is broken or just denied by the system administration, because this dialog comes from the operating system.

Or do you edit your mail in MS Word?

I had to select a check box to edit emails with MS Word.  That worked.
