Required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing

I have a HP Pavilion Laptop dv7t-1000 that had VISTA Business OEM. My hard drive failed and i had to replace it. with the new hard drive, i am trying to install the OS via CD/DVD drive but i keep getting this msg during install, " Required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing "? So then i tried booting to a USB DVD drive but the USB disk would not boot. Here is my boot config in BIOS:

1. USB diskette on Key/ USB Hard Disk
2. Internal cd/dvd drive
3. HARD disk
4. USB Floppy disk (Disabled)
5. LAN (Disabled)

Any assistance would be much appreciated,

Thank You

If you have an SATA optical drive (likely), just set the SATA mode in the BIOS to IDE for the installation.  Once you load the motherboard drivers after you install the OS, you can switch it back to AHCI mode in the BIOS.
