Running headless JVM in tomcat 5.5

Hi Experts,

I am working on a Struts web app that runs in linux box(test site) and I run windows and I am trying to match test env here.

The JVM is running headless for the tomcat server in linux server because we needed to set it for the JClass PDF generation. Because of this I need to find a way to get JFreeChart to generate the chart without JFrame. (I have an article about creating charts on headless systems.)
I want to test in my dev(windows) first before I check in my code. How do I run tomcat with headless jvm?

thanks,

The same arg that is used on your linux server should work on your windows desktop

where should I add it? I tried in Tomcat5.5\conf\catalina.properties, but didn't work. (I run tomcat inside of eclipse.

Find CATALINA_OPTS and after the last entry, do

export CATALINA_OPTS="${CATALINA_OPTS} -Djava.awt.headless=true"
