There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.  Please contact your system administrator

The contact on the users have change from first name to last name in the mail list I have changed the properties of the contacts to use first name but it still uses the last name.

Have you checked by sending the mail to same person from OWA..?
Are you able to send to other people in same domain..?
Try send ing email to same email id from Hotmail or gmail.
If you get the same problem over there then the issue is at recepient domain.

I would also guess that the problem is on the recipient's server. Can you call them and ask if they've been having email problems?

go to mxtoolbox.com and check the recipient server is running correctly first.

as you said user is able to send via owa...... but not in outlook?

is the name pull out from the cache? why don't you type in the email address and scratch out the cache (NK2 file under user's profile) and try to send it?

or the contact in GAL is not right.....

and the bounce back should have the error code. example 5.5.0. 5.7.1 rejected.........etc.

Please post the error code as well.

Thanks

Justin

If we use http://verify-email.org and give that email we are getting :

"451 message delayed, see http://www.greylisting.org ; Please try again later" error

This is due to grey listing at the recepient end.
Even if the user exists it will show us this message. This is a method of reducing Spam.
