Outlook Calendar Time Zones

I travel quite a bit outside Australia and continually use my laptop.

When I'm in another time zone east across the date line and receive and accept an appointment from someone in Australia, when I return to Australia and reset the date and time, Outlook loses track of the date of the appointment.

How to I set up appointments in a way that it should be assigned the date and time of the person scheduling them? Thanks.

    Accepted Solution

Outlook gets the time zone from Windows and uses the Windows zone as its default time zone. The ability to set the time and a time zone when you create an appointment is supposed to address most of the problems though.
