http to https redirect not working, Exchange 2010 OWA
AFternoon everyone,
I just successfully transitioned an Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 email system. The only part not working is the http to https redirect on OWA. It works for https://server1.domain.local to the /owa https://server1.domain.local/owa but not for the initial http -- https redirection.
In IIS where this all matters, here are the settings. I'm sure I have it setup correctly.
Default Website - SSL off, redirect on
-- aspnet_client - SSL on, redirect off
-- autodiscover - SSL on, redirect off
-- ecp - SSL on, redirect off
-- EWS - SSL on, redirect off
-- Exchange - SSL off, redirect off
-- Exchweb - SSL off, redirect off
-- Microsoft-Server-ActiveSyn
-- OAB - SSL on, redirect off
-- OWA - SSL on, redirect off
-- PowerShell - SSL off, redirect off
-- Public - SSL off, redirect off

when i connect to http: it goes to the IIS main page pictures
yes it is checked - ònly redirect requests to content in this directory (not subdirectories)
and underneith Status Code = Found(302)
yes i did iisreset and even as iisreset/noforce
