I have a XSLT file referenced in an Assembly which is referenced in SharePoint and WCF service.

This assembly has to go in GAC but I can't put the XSLT file in GAC, I have to put in with WCF Service.

How do I refer the XSLT file referenced in this assembly.

    Accepted Solution

depending on your environment / SharePoint farm / WCF service location you would have three options:
    - Place the file in a programs folder on the server
    - Put (upload) it in a central document library of your SharePoint server
    - Include it as an embedded resource in your DLL / project
