I have installed FolderGuard on a windows 2003 server. I have selected the folder that I want to protect on the folder and allocated a password to it and 2 users that can access it but it will not let me get on to the folder with the password.

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).

Encryption is the process of encoding messages or information in such a way that only authorized parties can read it. In an encryption scheme, the intended communication information or message, referred to as plaintext, is encrypted using an encryption algorithm, generating ciphertext that can only be read if decrypted. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
