Hello,
We have SCCM 2007 with WSUS installation on same central server. We use Search Folder to build the Update List in our Update Deployment Process. Every month the new updates from Microsoft's Update Tuesday have been listed in the Search Folder until now. I have reviewed the log file wsyncmgr.log and it appears to sync correctly. Would someone please assist in understanding why the updates are not showing up in the Search Folder and what I need to do to fix this issue?
Please let me know if there is any other information needed. Thank you.

Hi,
Has the search criteria changed for the folder you are looking in?
Try creating a new search folder, tick the "Date Released" box and set the criteria to "Last 1 month"
Does this folder then populate with the latest releases?

Hello Scottyworld,
Good suggestion. There are no updates in this Search Folder.
Is there any other information that you need?
Thank you.

Hello Scottyworld,
You got me thinking. I tried removing the Bulletin ID from the Search Criteria, and now many updates are showing up. I have been using the Bulletin ID to limit the updates by year, but these new updates do not have a Bulletin ID listed. I have not seen this or noticed this before. Is this a common occurrence?
Thank you.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Hello Scottyworld,
Reviewing the updates. The ones without a Bulletin ID do not have a Severity rating and are not Security Updates. Are there no Security Updates for September 2012?
Thank you.

Hey there, glad to have pointed you in the right direction. I won't be able to  check the Sept updates til I'm at work on Monday, but I know MS are releasing a critical security update for IE on Saturday (US time) which should show up in your list

Hello Scottyworld. There were no Security Updates rated Critical or Important until later in September (about the 21st). Once this was released the updates appeared in the Search Folder.
