Hi All,

We are trying to setup a GPO where users run specific apps on Windows 2008 server running IE 8. The user's profiles are on a shared network folder. One of the apps requires to download files into the temp Internet folder on the C drive which does not exist.

I have tried to modify the values in hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\user shell folder\cache, and also in shell folder, with success as it still shows that the internet temp folder still in the C drive.

Any idea if this can be done?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

If you had modify the regitry you solved the problem.
The rest you can do it by exporting the key and converting it into adm file using http://www.e-novatic.fr/softs/RegToAdm.exe
The adm will be imported in a GPO and that's all.
