Remote site SERVER 2008r2 DC

I have a remote site that I am going to place a dc, currently this remote site connects back to main office to talk w DCs through routers and no DC. The main office DC has two subnets in Sites and Services. 10.0.0/24 for main office servers and pcs and 10.0.1/24 for Remote site that are pushed out from remote site  router 10.0.1.1. Can I move that 10.0.1/24 subnet in Sites and Service to the remote site DC for use as DHCP leases or is there a better way.Thank you.

If the remove site is using 10.0.1/24 addressing then associate that subnet with the remove site in sites and services.

That way users in that site will use the local DC for authentication.  Make sure that DC is also a Global Catalog server and if you are running DNS on your DCs make it a DNS server and point the clients to that box for primary DNS.

Thanks
