Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2003

Currently we have exchange 2003 and clients use outlook 2003. Remote clients use RPC over HTTPS to use Outlook 2003 on their laptops.

We want to upgrade exchange 2003 to exchange 2010. Will outlook 2003 work with exchange 2010?

It will work, however you will probably want to look over this article as there are a few features that won't work with Outlook 2003 unless you create correct settings in Exchange.

Outlook 2003 does not know about autodicover so it wont work on the cloud
With exchange 2010 on premise it will work just fine as long your are still keeping your public folder > needed for Free/Busy, OAB ans stuff like that
