How can I add an event to Google Calender from MS Access?

I have been looking all day to find the answer to my question. Does anyone have any ideas or something to get me working in the right direction. It looks like I need to use the Google API but I am not understanding how to get started. Any input would be great.

Here's a link to help you out.  It explains it pretty well.  You would need to add a reference in you database to Microsoft Internet Transfer Control.
