Total of calculated data in a query

Hi
I am using a query to gather data for a report.
i have a caluated field as below.
LineTotal: [tblOrderDetailQuantity]*[tblOrderDetailPrice]
i would like set up another field within that query to give me a total of the result LineTotal.
i have tried =sum[LineToatal]
I understand that this is best done in the query before its goes to the report.

You can sum in report footer, but not in detail part. Check field name. You can also repeat calculations:
=Sum([tblOrderDetailQuantity]*[tblOrderDetailPrice])

i tried it in the page footer( Did not work)
not the report footer. it worked fine in report footer
