mr Schoemans; you can use 2 different methods :
a- after it shuts off, power on and check the cpu temp in the bios
b- install speedfan, and monitor temps : http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

hi,  i have decided to open up the laptop... blow out dust and monitor how long it will take before it switches off.
so far its been on for 30min...
there's still some noise on the fan, where it blows out wind, but better than before, a lot heat are coming out on the side too... feels like it's getting warmer. s

Alfredo,

> may i ask if speedfan can be used from an usb stick?
> thanks in advance
------Answer :
Hello,
SpeedFan needs to use a device driver that SpeedFan's installer configures.
Since the installer does not require a reboot, you can install directly from a
USB drive, run SpeedFan, then uninstall it.
