.Net application for touch screen

“We are in need to make our application to be sensitive to the multi-touch finger gestures such as pinch and spread when using a touch screen monitor instead of a standard monitor. Our application is in .NET framework 3.5 and hence runs on Windows platforms from XP till Windows 7. How will my application get the finger gesture commands? Will there be adaptors for touch screen monitors that will be installed? Is there any inbuilt windows provision to launch virtual keyboards for data entry for a totally mouseless operation?”

some controls from Telerik (like the scheduler) already react to some gestures
