which EdgeSight licenses are included with xendesktop enterprise and XD platinum

at the moment i run a test with edgesight at the XenApp servers.
i have XenDesktop platinum licenses and switched the xenapp server to platinum also.
but i have the messages:

    Please make sure that the license file is detected and the hostname is matched.
    Please restart "Citrix System Monitoring agent service".

    its better to download the new license from citrix and upload same into your citrix license server, then give a try.

    i use a current xendesktop platinum /xenapp platinum demo license.
    but i receive the message above.
    should i see a dedicated edgesight entry within the licensing console with this licenses?

    No, EdgeSight licenses are part of the XenDesktop and XenApp Platinum.  With Platinum licenses you can set the EdgeSight Agent in Advanced mode.

    Make sure that your Citrix servers are set to Platinum.  It's possible that you overlooked the licensing setting and used Enterprise instead, which would explain the error messages you're seeing.

    In XA6.5, the licensing version is set within a policy, and just upgrading the licenses in the licensing console isn't enough.

    thanks all,

    all the servers are displayed as "xenApp Platinum" within the XenApp Center since Starting the test.

    after restarting all servers this weekend (XA + ES -- and not only the ES agent + ima-service)
    i see :
    "2012-10-01 07:37:45 Ctrx                     Licensing                Licensed by XenApp  "
    i think my problem is solved
