You may be looking for something like this:
    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(window).load(function () {
            $('#<%= TextBox1.ClientID %>').change(function () {
                alert(this.value);
            });
        });
    </script>

Open in new window

Simply replace TextBox1 with the name of your TextBox and it should work.
