Why not just use Dropbox and send links to items for people?

How do I do that?

Sign up for a free Dropbox account.  Free means free too, there is no trial, it's always free and you get 2 GB.  You can buy more.  Then, upload your file and there is an option to send a link, or share that file with someone else.

Dropbox is a great option if you are sharing files in that fashion, but to answer your email question, Google is about the biggest free one at 25mb.  Having said that, the recipient may not be able to accept that large of a file due to his/her limitations.  So, something as mentioned above will be a great option.  Here are a few more:

Gmail isn't a large file sending/sharing option, it's a free email service and its attachment size is way lower than the author needs.
