Sounds like a page, or pages, weren't properly deployed during the install. &nbsp;I would run the Products Config Wizard again. &nbsp;Don't choose to disconnect from the existing farm.

Thanks all for your replies so far.<br />
I checked site permissions. &nbsp;I only had a hand full of users there.<br />
At this time, I may be leaning on it being a network issue as I can add users when accessing the site over my VPN connection...

I just started developing today and am already troubleshooting my first issue. &nbsp;I am having trouble adding a user to a group. &nbsp;It doesn't matter which group. Members, Views, even other Site Collection Admins. &nbsp;When I attempt to do so I am able to get as far as picking a name from Active Directory, however when I click OK, I get this message/Dialog and the name is not added to the group:<br />

The site has virtually been untouched with the exception that turned publishing features on.<br />

Hellow Experts,

I am a new Site Collection Admin for a SharePoint 2010 Site.  
I just started developing today and am already troubleshooting my first issue.  I am having trouble adding a user to a group.  It doesn't matter which group. Members, Views, even other Site Collection Admins.  When I attempt to do so I am able to get as far as picking a name from Active Directory, however when I click OK, I get this message/Dialog and the name is not added to the group:
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

The site has virtually been untouched with the exception that turned publishing features on.
Any thoughts?
