Exchange database doesnt mount after hard drive failure
Hi,
Long story short, after a hard drive failure it seems we have some currupt logs and database wont mount
After running eseutil /p for several hours, it came back with error
Operation terminated with error -1119 (JET_errReadLostFlushVerif yFailure, The da
tabase page read from disk had a previous write not represented on the page.) af
ter 8175.794 seconds.
I have about 100 mailboxes, is there any way to either queue up mail flow or recreate mailboxes and import data back later, so at least my users can email while I get a restoration?
thanks

You mean to create mailboxes again ?
If so you have to reconfigure outlook for all.

Mount a blank database - Do you mean create a new database?
Will I need to recreate mailboxes?
As for recovery, I am awaiting my backup file and should have it in a day, and will try that

thanks.
Repair your old database mount as recovery database then migrate user mails to new database.
