I have a site that works absolutely fine in my development box, but when I build the site and upload it to my server, one of the pages gives the following error:

Line 11:             Text="Send an email to confirm ths" Checked="True" GroupName="SendEmail"

Just check if an old dll is present in the gac on the server

We used to get this issue when we  publish the project in windows7 and deployed it on  server
I.We sorted out this issue most of the time by following these steps :
1.Take a backup of your project
2.Delete that page from the project
    3.Create with same page name
4.Replace the aspx source and codebehind source from back up of that page
5.Then deploy the compiled source and  check.

    Hope this helps u

I tried that earlier, and it now gives the same error with a different identifier on the page!

I guess I can try doing it again!

Try removing the controls that are giving you errors(copy paste them on a back up file; may be notepad). ALso you need to remove any event listeners /method in your .cs/.vb files

Compile and see if you get rid of errors, if that happens, add that control from scratch (so that it's defined in .desginer.aspx page
