How to shorten time to defrag.

I'm running Defrag on 150GB raid 5 disk set which has SQL server. After 3 hours, it's only 4%. I don't know how long this will take. Questions

1. If I stop here and run again, Will the next defrag starts from where it stopped?

2. What options do I have to reduce the time it takes to defrag? I empty out recycle bin and deleted some files. I can't do disk cleanup because this also takes too much time while I have to bring up the server in time I promised.

Windows server 2003 STD 32bit
RAID 1 35GB
RAID 5 150GB

Hey quick question,

Are you using windows defrag?  If so you should stop immediately.  That tool has known to cause database corruption issues immediately.  Paul Randall, the lead storage engine programmer of SQL Server told me this personally.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.
