Sybase BCP parallel
Hi Sybase-Experts!
We a searching for a safe possibility to bcp-out a big data table on Sybase ASE-15.0.
Although it's not recommended (concerning several websites), but nevertheless we tried already a parallel bcp-out with separate chunks via -F and -L options and got a good performance boost by that.
But unfortunately there happen several inserts on the table during bcp.
So some rows are written out twice (in adjacent bcp-out blocks) and others (with highest row count) get lost.
Do you have any idea how to make this parallel bcp-out more reliable or have another better parallel-bcp approach?

From my understanding (which could be wrong), bcp will always have problems (parallel or not) if rows are inserted during the operation.
I have similar problem and I used a range (suppose 50000 records) of Identity(Unique) column to create the view and bcp out the view data.
