I have a little issue with our mail server.... I used Microsoft ForeFront Security software just for the trial period and it worked perfect! we were not getting any spam!! The trial expired and I had to installed another one. I tried to buy ForeFront and just download it but I couldn't!! in their website there is not an option to just buy it and download it... they want me to call and do this and that!!!! So, it was a pain the neck trying to buy this software. I looked into Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange I got some good feedback from some people about it so I got! easy to buy and download! Now, the problem is that the feedback I got I guess it wasn't that good!!! I installed Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange with the default setting but I did change some things like Premium AntiSpam settings, Premium AntiSpam Actions, and Auto-Protect! I'm not sure if I'm configuring it right but we are getting a lot of spam!!!!! it is Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange that is not a good option or is a misconfiguration on my end? have you had this issues before if you have used Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange?
Thanks!

default setup shuld work fine.
confirm that the services are started on your exchange server.
Thanks chubby_informer!! I will take a look at them!
What services should I check to see they are up on the exchange server? and what settings on the server? I'm sorry but I'm new with Exchange..
Thanks!

Thanks Sembee2! Does Vamsoft ORF and GFI Mial Essentials compatible with exchange 2010? what is the price for both of them? do you know? I will look into them because if Symantec is going to keep letting spam go through I will have to look for something different!
confirm that the services are started on your exchange server.
ensure that the server settings are correct.
