I am having a branch "Swap" out a router with a bad fan remotely, which means I will be walking the branch manager thru this..
The replacement c2821 is on-site has the config pre-loaded already
What are the start to finish steps I need to take to make this quick and painless ?

Wan connection to mpls edge router .. it also connected to a c3560 switch any considerations there?
Same router being replaced as router being removed.

Just plugged in and powered on replacement 2821 i couldn't ping it tho ..What can I check.. i

The configs were done by sys admin..not avail at present and the router is located in another state..so I cant console in to the router.

Got the router communicating thanks, Turns out after walking on-site hands thru this install the router was not connected to the switch.
