Google - seriously! There are millions of pages on the web about Javascript and jQuery. I'm sure you can find some tutorials specific to your needs.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

thanks ChrisStanyon, yes you are correct i could see lot of examples in the google, but at the same time i found very complex examples and they are not providing the source code also,
so as a expert u can guide me where i can get different popular java script programs including source code.

The thing is that javascript and jquery can do a million different things, so pointing you to specific code for a specific function is impossible.

If you're just starting out, I would suggest learning jQuery, rather than pure Javascript, because it's a lot easier to do some pretty fancy stuff, and is very robust across all the major browsers.

For a good intro into jQuery, take a look here -> http://net.tutsplus.com/articles/web-roundups/jquery-for-absolute-beginners-video-series/

Ultimately, tutorials will only get you so far. The best way to learn is to try it, so identify a particular function that you'd like to develop and go for it (for example, lightbox gallery, image sliders, ajax auto-complete functions, animations etc).

If you then get stuck you can ask the Experts here about a specific problem.
