Exchange mail alerts
I have two mailboxes. One in outlook which I use 99% of the time and the second accessible through OWA. I want to receive notifications to my main mailbox when mail arrives into my OWA mailbox. I don't want to have to keep logging into my OWA account. I do not want to integrate the two mailboxes in any way in outlook. I also want the alerts to be alerts only and not contain the actual mail that is sent to the OWA account.
I am using outlook 2010. Is this possible?
Thanks

What type of alert are youtalking about? If not email, SMS?

Its an email alert
Are you using 2 accounts or its one ?
If its one then any email hits your Mailbox and not OWA or Outlook .... so they both should have it ....... if they are different why not create a Outlook profile and have a rule for worwarding such emails to your other account from Server side.

Open Second mailbox as additional mailbox in your Primary Mailbox.

It is two mailboxes completely seperate (two ad accounts). I need them to be completely seperate. The mailbox being accessed via OWA is for sensitive data. The main mailbox is being shared with a PA. When new email arrives to the OWA mailbox the user obviously doesn't know unless they log into OWA. I would like if possible for some type of alert or similar to notify the user email is waiting for them in the OWA inbox.
I don't want to get involved in adding the mailbox in as a secondary mailbox as this is the cleanest option for the user to avoid confusion. One interface for sensitive mail one interface for daily standard mail

Adding the second mailbox always poses the risk of replying to sensitive email using the main account as its default. Having to select an account each time to send from gets a bit messy.
So why not have a rule in both ... first one will forward and second one will have to move email to a subfolder in Mailbox or PST ... remember PST wont give the Pop-up and what rights does the PA have to the account\mailbox ?
Adding secondary account doesnt means you can reply or send emails from that account .... will only happen if your First account has rights to Second account but again no Pop-ups

The OWA tray is perfect apart from one part and thats the name on the top of the bar. This is someone quite senior and to have a bar titled "freshly baked at the drunken factory" would just not fly! I tested the owanotify but get an error 407 proxy authentication required.
I don't think freshly baked at the drunken factory is causing any issue, it is just title given by author.

Yes you right. I'm wondering if there is a tool like this from a more legitimate source even if it meant paying for it. Microsoft Symantec etc as we are entering in a senior users credentials to a third party piece of software. Security is main concern. When I see a title like this corporate professional security doesn't spring to mind. If it was for my machine there would be no issue.
What version of Exchange is being used currently.
If it is Exchange 2010, ask you admin to enable it
