The specified password is no longer valid. Citrix Receiver

I am using xenapp 6.5 with web interface 5.4.
I am having a problem changing a password through Citrix Receiver.

When I initially setup a new user in our domain, I create a generic password that has to be reset on first login.

I want to be able to make the change when logging on through Citrix Receiver.

I am able to get this to work on the web interface but not through Citrix Receiver.

I have attached an image of the error.

Any help would be great.

From the article it appears you are out of luck...

Can't be done...

if the user has must change password on next logon selected in their profile (which is a common practice when new user accounts are created and the user must change password after logging in for the first time), unless you disable authentication on the VPN VIP.

But I am not using Access Gateway.

If you want to change the password using web interface thru receiver, then right click on the web URL and follow similar steps as listed for PNagent in the above URL. If for PNagent site, then you can follow the above link.

Thanks for the help but neither was what I was looking for. I'm not trying to do passthrough authentication. I just want to be able to change my password through citrix receiver.
I can do it just fine on the web interface, just not receiver.
