Romney's Character in Question

When you're tied to terrorists, slum lords, 9/11 truthers, and anti-American preachers, is it a good idea to bring up your opponent's character?

Obama Kicks Up Character Attacks After Debate Drubbing

No incumbent has ever run a campaign of such sustained character attacks as Obama. The president has been spending tens of millions each month not to say that Romney is wrong or that he holds the wrong policy assumptions but that Romney is a bad man,

>>1. An ‘Unelected Board’ Controlling Your Health Care

The law prohibits?  ....that would be great if health care were unlimited, that an increase in the demand were met with an increase in supply.  Or that funds were unlimited.  In reality we know this not to be true.  Simple economics show that you can't increase the demand and lower the supply and and not have a shortage.  It's impossible to not ration.

>>give tax breaks to the rich so they can create more jobs didn't work under Bush

On the contrary.  Lowering taxes increased tax revenues, especially under Bush.  This is a fact.
You can see in this Obama/Hillary debate video that to be true and Obama acknowledging.  VIDEO
(LOOK AT THE DEBATE VIDEO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF)

Bill Clinton's time was much different.  You had relative peace, you had a republican congress, and you had the start of the tech boom.  Times were good despite Clinton.

>>By the time (Mitt Romney) left office, Massachusetts was 47th in the nation in job creation

What was the unemployment rate under his term as governor?  I believe it went from 5.6 to 4.7, even with having to work with job killing Democrats.

>>Is this question seriously coming from someone who's spent the past 4 years wrongly characterizing the President as a Muslim Socialist Marxist Terrorist who together with his wife (the first lady) hate America

I don't know anything about the Muslim thing, other than he, himself, declaring his Muslim faith.  But yeah - this man, Obama, was raised to hate capitalism, hate our values, and he spent his life around people that share that belief.  This is a slam dunk case - not even close.  No jury in the world would not convict Obama of being anti-American if presented with the facts.

No jury in the BIZARRO WORLD OF CONSERVATISM would not convict Obama of being anti-American if presented with the facts.

Fixed that one for you too.

And Obama has credibility with you?

Obama flip flopped on gay marriage, spent 20 years in church listening to some crazy preacher say "G*d damn america!"

Obama said he would cut the deficit in half, yet he's spending a trillion extra every year.

Obama promised he would lower health care premiums yet they've shot through the roof.

Obama said there would be a new type of government under him.  That lasted long.

He said he wouldn't raise taxes on the middle class, but he gave the middle class the largest tax increase in US history.

He promised he would televise health care debates.  Not only did he break that promise, but he wouldn't even let Republicans contribute ideas.

He promised he would increase transparency.  Where are the fast and furious documents?  What happened in Libya?  Why do lobbyists say the administration request to meet with them outside the white house so as to keep off the white house log?

And yet you pull up these VERY MINOR things on Romney.  Put things in perspective.
>>Obama flip flopped on gay marriage,

No he didn't flip/flop. He flipped once. Over time. After consideration. That's called changing your mind and realizing you might be wrong. Imagine that.

>>spent 20 years in church listening to some crazy preacher say "G*d damn america!"

Honestly this crap again just is annoying. He's been in office for over 3 years and hasn't tried to burn the country down. Get over it.

>>Obama said he would cut the deficit in half, yet he's spending a trillion extra every year.

Everyone's numbers are different here and it also costs money to fix the mess.

>>Obama promised he would lower health care premiums yet they've shot through the roof.

Again, it depends who you ask. They always go up so that was a pipe dream promise, but they haven't gone up like they could have.

>>Obama said there would be a new type of government under him.  That lasted long.

Another pipe-dream promise of his.

>>He said he wouldn't raise taxes on the middle class, but he gave the middle class the largest tax increase in US history.

Referring to ObamaCare? That it's just a tax hike is the conservative view. That's it's needed health care is the liberal view. It is both.

>>He promised he would televise health care debates.  Not only did he break that promise, but he wouldn't even let Republicans contribute ideas.

I never heard anything about televising debates. What ideas were Republicans contributing besides NO!

>>He promised he would increase transparency.  Where are the fast and furious documents?  What happened in Libya?  Why do lobbyists say the administration request to meet with them outside the white house so as to keep off the white house log?

Transparency is increased in some areas. In other areas there are always scandals. Lobbyists are the last people I would believe about anything.

>>And yet you pull up these VERY MINOR things on Romney.  Put things in perspective.

Minor? The guy really flip flops a ton. He says crap in every interview that his campaign has to correct afterwards. He is proposing a tax plan for 18 months that he denied in the debate all of a sudden, or he can't do math. He also outright said he is not worried about half the country. How is that stuff minor to you?
>>Obama said there would be a new type of government under him.  That lasted long.

Actually there is - a very one sided government.   Although it's not the different government he alluded to, it is different and it was the Republicans from the get go: "Our main priority is to make sure Obama is a one term President"  country be damned!

>>He promised he would televise health care debates.  Not only did he break that promise, but he wouldn't even let Republicans contribute ideas.

I never heard anything about televising debates. What ideas were Republicans contributing besides NO!

Actually he said on the campaign trail they should put the debates on CSPAN, and I was disappointed that they didn't.  I also recall Republicans opposing EVERYTHING, even their own ideas.   It's not that Republican ideas weren't included;  it's that once Obama championed them, they became "bad ideas".   I also remember a meeting with Republican and Democratic leaders around the table with Obama moderating, and every Republican in lock step said "Throw away the whole bill and start over".   Great input guys, way to get things done!
>>Actually he said on the campaign trail they should put the debates on CSPAN,

Why do you think he didn't?  The reason was he didn't want the public to have more view of the shit they were trying to push through.  When Obamacare is in full swing (there's a reason they decided to fully implement after the election), the idiots supporting it will finally realize the mistake they made putting a fuckin' community organizer in office.

>>I also recall Republicans opposing EVERYTHING

If someone comes to me with a pile of dog shit ideas, I'm going to oppose them too.

Because of Obamacare, a lot of Red Lobster and Olive Garden employees will now have to look for an additional job.

Chain Cuts Workers' Hours over Obamacare

Under that law, large companies must provide affordable health insurance to employees working an average of at least 30 hours per week.

If they do not, the companies can face fines of up to $3,000 for each employee who then turns to an exchange — an online marketplace — for insurance.

>>That's called changing your mind

Yeah, for Obama it's called changing your mind.  For Romney it's a flip flop.  (eyes rolling)

>>Honestly this crap again just is annoying.  (re: Rev Wright)

Of course it is to you.  You can't face the truth that this president has spent his entire life around radical people who oppose capitalism and look at our values with disdain.  Every influence Obama's had over his life has been anti-American.
