Is Obama protecting al-qaeda?

The Benghazi, Libya cover up is about to go full force and hit the Obama administration hard.

What happened?  Is Obama protecting al-qaeda?  They keep pointing back to the video, yet we have proof they know it was a terrorist attack.

Why was there low security?

What's going on?

Obviously, Beetos, the comedy channel hasn't gotten around to covering this story.

What do you mean?  It was all over Fox News today.

Oh you meant the OTHER comedy channel?
Good one.

Fox is the only station that actually covers news.

This cover up is going to be bad news for Obama.  Combine this with Obama's horrible debate performance and it's over for the community organizer.
Fox is the only station that actually covers news.

Well, in actuality  they cover UP the news with lies and distortion.

Pray tell,  what is this latest insinuation based on?  Where did you hear about it?   Can you provide some details?  Because the article you used as the basis of this question doesn't even mention Al-Qaeda.
Eventually even the liberal stations will cover this story.  No shock you're not up to speed.
So it was definitely al-qaeda, not just some local militia?   And because it took a bit of time to get the details of what happened, he's protecting al-qaeda?

Again, the article you used to start this question doesn't even mention al-qaeda.

That's a classic Fox "news" attack jump, and not a real news story, so I wouldn't expect to see it on "the liberal stations".
>>So it was definitely al-qaeda, not just some local militia?   And because it took a bit of time to get the details of what happened, he's protecting al-qaeda?

The administration had several people out giving conflicting stories at the same time.  Two weeks later Obama was still blaming the video.

Reports came out that the administration knew immediately, but went out and told lie after lie for 2 weeks.

This cover up stinks.  Obama blamed an American first instead of terrorists.  Of course he has a habit of blaming anything American first.
Right - so there weren't widespread protests across the middle east because of that video?   There weren't protests in Egypt on the same day because of the video?

Perhaps being an election is around the corner, the administration was hesitant to declare this a terrorist attack, but it's a far cry from "protecting al-qaeda" and blaming America - that's just partisan rhetoric from political hacks.

>>Right - so there weren't widespread protests across the middle east because of that video?

No.

>>the administration was hesitant to declare

The mom of the marine killed there can't even get a straight answer as to what happened to her son.  They're more worried about covering their asses than they are protecting our embassies and Americans who occupy them.
As the "public hearing on top secret information" as hosted by Darryl Issa shows us, there was a CIA base right there.     What else do you want, an army in every country where we have an embassy?

But I can understand your outrage about a mother who's son was killed in the line of duty and can't get a straight answer about what happened, like George Tillman's mother for instance.
>>The really, really, sad difference between Fox and the Comedy Channel is that the Fox presenters don't know they're laughable, nor do their viewers.

They have the largest cable news audience.

>>As the "public hearing on top secret information" as hosted by Darryl Issa shows us, there was a CIA base right there.     What else do you want, an army in every country where we have an embassy

The state department ignored requests for additional security.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) acknowledged on Wednesday that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010.

On Wednesday morning, CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien asked the Utah Republican if he had "voted to cut the funding for embassy security."

"Absolutely," Chaffetz said. "Look we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have…15,000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, a private army there, for President Obama, in Baghdad. And we’re talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces. When you’re in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices. You have to prioritize things.”

The marines there were not allowed to carry live ammo.  The state dept was warned 3 days ahead of time.  The state dept had every opportunity to defend these Americans.

This is plain and simple a cover up.  Rivals Watergate.
Bush was warned for months about Bin Laden.   He asked them to summarize the threat.  They did that in the infamous August memo to which Bush replied: "Thanks".

Does that rival watergate?  Does it rival Benghazi?
