Deploying software via GPO not working

I have this problem with ANY software I try installing to my users.

I know how to create packages, I looked at all the guides, and I'm doing it down to the detail.

For some reason, User install packages work great, granted only if they have install rights and are a administrator...which is only IT.

So I made computer install packages and it doesn't work. Particularly right now I'm working on distributing a Java MSI file. I'm using the network path, I have authenticated users full rights to it and the path. Yet it doesn't work. The event log states error %%1612.

Any help? We're using SBS 2011.

Here are the logs from my eventvwr.

Error:

Failed to apply changes to software installation settings.  Software changes could not be applied.  A previous log entry with details should exist.  The error was : %%1612

Error (#Java is the name of the GPO in the error)

dragon-it: Yes I gave both "authenticated users" and "everyone" full rights. I have the scope set to my laptop computer name.

And I am giving it the full UNC share path ie \\share\file_distro

Sounds good.  for a computer based policy yes you need the "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon", and the share / ntfs permissions as discussed earlier for starters.

Sorry I was elsewhere after commenting earlier so couldn't respond.
