Why is the Obama campaign falling apart?

Why is the Obama campaign falling apart?

I'm starting to agree with Dick Morris, who claims this will be a Romney landslide victory.

Morris regularly makes predictions about candidates' chances of winning elections during these appearances. In a 2005 book on the 2008 presidential campaign, Morris stated that it was most likely that Hillary Clinton would face Condoleezza Rice for the presidency. Morris's critics reacted by mocking his mistaken predictions of past races.

Regarding the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, he initially stated that Howard Dean's candidacy could be written off right away. While ultimately vindicated, he had earlier discussed the likelihood of Dean defeating John Kerry after early strong showings by the former Vermont governor. Kerry defeated Dean and all his other rivals and won the nomination. Additionally, in a column in "The Hill" on June 22, 2005, Morris predicted that Hillary Clinton would face her "worst nightmare" in her 2006 Senate race against moderate Republican candidate Jeanine Pirro, whose campaign subsequently collapsed within a matter of two months after repeated crushing defeats in the opinion polls due to her husband's alleged mafia ties. He even went so far as to suggest that Clinton would "give up"[citation needed] and drop out to focus on her 2008 campaign.[25][26]

>>The one that shows Obama 201 and Romney 191?

Obama lost states previously thought as a lock.  Those states are toss ups now.  History shows they'll go to Romney.

Gallup:  Romney 50%, Obama 46% Among Likely Voters

USA Today:  Swing States poll: Women push Romney into lead

This Libya cover up will blow up on Obama tonight and definitely in the next debate.

It is time to warm up the bus, baby" - Dick Vitale
Eric,

How come polls are only important when they favor Romney?
>>How come polls are only important when they favor Romney?

As I normally do, I'm just backing up my comments.
So in your mind, Obama's on the ropes eh?   So Romney should land a knockout blow tonight?

And the rest of the week we'll see Romney out in front in the polls?

Is that your position today?
>>So in your mind, Obama's on the ropes eh?   So Romney should land a knockout blow tonight?

We should do a drinking game tonight.  Take a drink each time Obama says "47%"

We'll all be drunk in the first 10 minutes.

Now if we take a drink each time Obama defends his record, we'll be sober all thru the night.

>>And the rest of the week we'll see Romney out in front in the polls?

Yep.  And Dick Morris will be even a bigger pooh tang magnet.
LOL - that's classic!   What would Dick Morris do with pooh tang anyway?

How about if we take a drink everytime Romney lies?   Wait don't do that - I wouldn't want you to drown.
Dick Morris is the Brad Pitt of politics.  He bangs more chicks before 5 am than most dudes do in a life time.
What, does he get the whores coming home from work at 4am?
>>What, does he get the whores coming home from work at 4am?

Lesson 4: Keep ya ho. It's the most important thing to know

     -Dick Morris on O'reilly
Dick Morris shouldn't call O'rielly a "ho".
We should do a drinking game tonight.  Take a drink each time Obama says "47%"

We'll all be drunk in the first 10 minutes.

Well at least we got a nightcap at the end!
>>Well at least we got a nightcap at the end!

He did pull out quite a few liberal playing cards at the beginning.  Wealth demonization and all that other crap about making successful people look bad.
Despite what conservatives would like to believe, Romney didn't win, and Candy Crowley didn't back track.
Candy is a left wing hack
...says the guy who uses Dick Morris as a reference!
>>...says the guy who uses Dick Morris as a reference!

Even the Fonz would bow to Dick Morris.
What do Dick Morris and the Fonz have in common?

Neither one is affected by nor is conscience of REALITY.

*Thanks for bringing us back to those Happy Days!
I loved Happy Days. :)
Can you say blowout!?!

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map.html

Romney has the electoral college lead and there are lots of undecided states.

Momentum is in Romney's favor.  No way undecideds go for Obama.
Does that include polling from after the second debate?
>>Does that include polling from after the second debate?

Averages all the polls.  Are you expecting a bump or something?  Don't hold your breath.

Next debate is on foreign policy.  The libyan cover up will spell the end of Obama's campaign.  I've lost track of how many different lies they've told.
Did Romney get a bump from the first debate?

Next debate is on foreign policy.  The libyan cover up will spell the end of Obama's campaign.

Yeah, that was devastating in the second debate.
>>Did Romney get a bump from the first debate?

Yep.  What's that have to do with the price of eggs in China?

>>Yeah, that was devastating in the second debate.

It'll be a dagger in the heart.  Romney will call out all the lies.
Romney will spew out all the lies.

Fixed that for ya.
>>Fixed that for ya.

Now fix them for Obama.  When are they going to give the full story of what happened, when they knew it, what they're covering up, etc...?

Lie after lie after lie.

Most transparent administration my ass.  What a fuckin' joke.
Most transparent administration my ass.  What a fuckin' joke.

Certainly more transparent than the Bush administration with 9/11.   What did they know and when did they know it ?  Please.
>>Certainly more transparent than the Bush administration with 9/11.   What did they know and when did they know it ?  Please.

My guess is they knew it at the time the buildings fell down.  It's been over two weeks, and Obama still bring himself hasn't called the Libyan assault a terrorist attack.  This man defends al qaeda more than he defends Americans.
My guess is they knew it at the time the buildings fell down.

Well you're wrong about that.   They'd been receiving intelligence info about the attacks for months prior which was largely ignored.

It's been over two weeks, and Obama still bring himself hasn't called the Libyan assault a terrorist attack.

No, he called it a terrorist attack THE NEXT DAY - just ask Candy Crowley.  Heck even Mitt Romney knows that (now!).

Republicans are like children:  "You didn't call TERRORIST - YOU LOSE!"  WTF?  We were attacked and the Republicans don't seem to care about who attacked us or why or what we're going to do about it. No, they're more concerned about using semantics to attack the President purely for political purposes, which has been their MO since he's been elected.

How come semantics aren't important when you guys are building false narratives like "You didn't build that?".

Were there protests about a film? Yes.   Did that happen across the middle east?  Yes.   Is it possible that a militant group seized on the turmoil to launch an attack?  Are the protests and a terrorist attack mutually exclusive?  NO!

Yes.   Was it 9/11 and could the militants have been planning the attack just because of that?  Yes.  Should we wait for the investigation before convicting the administration?   Maybe you should ask George Zimmerman?
This man defends al qaeda more than he defends Americans.

I almost missed this one, but this is classic Republican "Obama is a terrorist" BS.

First, the attackers aren't even Al Qaeda, they're wannabes.   Second if Obama is protecting Al Qaeda, he's sure got a funny way of going about it with drone strikes and a kill list.

Terrorists attack on one of our embassies.   Obama wants to attack them.   Republicans want to attack Obama.  I don't get it.
>>No, he called it a terrorist attack THE NEXT DAY - just ask Candy Crowley.

Nope.

See this video of her on CNN.  She admits Romney was correct.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=athcyCTnTTs

>>We were attacked and the Republicans don't seem to care

Obama went to Vegas the next day after a terrorist attack that killed Americans.  Then I think he was with Jay Z or something.

This was plain and simple a cover up by this administration.  Day 1 they knew this was a terrorist attack.  But yet they went on for weeks saying it was a video.
Why do you have such an aversion to reality?
>>Why do you have such an aversion to reality?

Watch the last debate.  This will blow up bigger than ever.  No debate prep, fancy one liners, or wealth demonization comments can stop the backlash this president is about to face.

The media won't cover it like they would had this happened under Bush.  But at the debates, minus the Candy Crowley lie, the media can't cover this man.  Millions watch.  There's no teleprompter.
First of all, Candy didn't lie, she stated a fact.  That fact is easily provable by a transcript of what was said in public in front of journalists who recorded it.  Oh yeah, I forgot about your reality aversion.

But now you're predicting Obama will get wiped at the next debate?    I disagree.  And didn't you predict the same thing about the second debate?

Also, I don't think the Libya card is going to be played again, not after the dressing down Obama gave Romney over it in debate #2.
>>First of all, Candy didn't lie, she stated a fact.

No.  You didn't look at the video.  She admits she made a mistake and Romney was correct.

>>But now you're predicting Obama will get wiped at the next debate?    I disagree.

Libya cover up.  Lies.  He'll have to come clean.
Couldn't watch the video, but here's the transcript of it per Fox "News"

First, the transcript from the relevant part of the debate:

ROMNEY: I want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.

OBAMA: Get the transcript.

CROWLEY: It -- it -- it -- he did in fact, sir ... call it an act of terror.

Next, what she said on CNN ( which is in the video you site):

"Right after that I did turn around and say, 'but you are totally correct that they spent two weeks telling us that this was about a tape'," she said.

So NO - she didn't admit she made a mistake or that Romney was correct about it.   Romney tried to trap Obama but he was wrong in what he was saying.  There's friking evidence of this - oh yeah, but that would require believing in things like reality.

She went on to elaborate that Romney's larger point, that the Administration was talking about the tape was correct.

Fox et al would have us believe she was helping Obama, and now they want us to believe that by reiterating exactly what happened, she was admitting a mistake and saying Romney was right.   WTF - it can't be both!

The two points (act of terror, and the root cause)  are not mutually exclusive, and despite the conservative howling, she was clearly being a fair moderator trying to cut through the bullshit for our benefit!   THE PRESIDENT CLEARLY SAID IT WAS AN ACT OF TERROR.  Even if it was caused by the tape, IT'S STILL AN ACT OF TERROR.

She did not make a mistake, nor did she "admit" to it.  She explained exactly what happened, and you still can't comprehend it or are just trying to spin it.
She sure did...after the debate.
She should've been fired.
I'm starting to thing you ARE Dick Morris!

Just out of curiosity, what color is the sky in your world?
Just heard Bob Beckel say it's over.  Obama is too far back in the polls.
>>I'm starting to thing you ARE Dick Morris!

That would make me a pooh tang machine
For first time, Romney's favorability rating tops Obama's

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has finally cleared what many aides have long seen as his biggest hurdle: A majority of voters now like him
.
Dick Morris,  Bob Beckel, and now this?   Why even bother having the election?!?
This is a slam dunk for Obama right here. Expect to hear Romnesia a lot at the debate on Monday.

http://youtu.be/8BBEXB1Wf9c

#Romnesia is already topping social media and all over the internet. This is sticky as hell and delivered great by Obama here.

I know the conservatives will disagree but this is a major blow to Romney. He better really hit the Libyagate ball out of the park Monday or he's dead. Catchy and funny works better with the public than cover-up scandal does.

The last line is very funny too.
>>The last line is very funny too.

That's all it is is a line.  It's not policy, it's  not going to lower gas prices, it's not going to give us more national security, it's not going to put more of the 23 million out of work or the 47 million on food stamps back to work.

It's a line, designed to divert attention from a failed economy, failed foreign policy, and failed president.
>>It's a line, designed to divert attention from a failed economy, failed foreign policy, and failed president.

And it works. That's why it's a problem for Romney.

Still going and will get another boost after debates tonight and Obama uses it a few more times.
